Seems admirable for anyone seeking a second job. Nothing wrong with it except those starting on the platform, telling them how to make $1,000 without giving them some kind of timeline when that might happen is the 'what' part of a 4 part answer.
There's a learning curve to any platform, not just Medium. WordPress ring a bell, it was supposed to be easy too.
I admire you want to pick up the mantle and introduce people to your preferred writing platform.
Please keep in mind who you are writing for: The Millennial who isn't familiar with a chain letter. Or the old direct mail person who remembers receiving the shill of "I can show you how to get $1,000. Send $1 to learn how", that told them to send out 1,000 letters like the one they received.
Not saying you're doing that nor using the same tactics in your newsletter. Far from it.
Simply attempting to direct you to how many others doing and saying the same on Medium. What would make your newsletter stand out from the noise for a new writer on the platform.😉
I think I have learnt this the hard way! Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you for reading Obi🫡
All day bro!
Even this option is no longer available as if the same people read your stories and if they are part of the MPP they don't count as readers. So now the only way for writers to earn some money on Medium is to be approved and loved by its curators. I will write a story about it at an opportune time. Did you see my fiction 😆https://medium.com/illumination/mediocras-self-inflicted-demise-a-kingdom-that-shot-itself-in-the-foot-again-and-again-8e07c9e05f5a It is a mirror of the reality now.

Joshua, I liked your piece this morning on putting in the time or effort, in order to qualify yourself to receive a benefit in return..https://open.substack.com/pub/iamjoshuamason/p/there-is-only-one-way-to-make-solid?r=kzg3&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=email
It seems more widely applicable than just to Medium. :-)
